Chionochloa and Gahnia species

The Moths and Butterflies of NZ Trust is about to embark on Stage 2 of the Forest Ringlet Project, to restore numbers of this endemic butterfly in the wild (which not many people know even exists... and not only is it very beautiful, it's the only one of its species).

We would like to source Gahnia pauciflora, G procera or G. setifolia plants and have been so far unable to find them available commercially. If anyone knows of where we can buy a quantity of these plants we'd be very grateful to hear from you/them: jacqui@nzbutterflies.org.nz.

Read more about Stage 1 of the project here:

If you can help spread the word we'd be very grateful.
